"Georgios, Gravity & God is a solo exhibition by Dasha Loyko at lake. The new multimedia installation centres around a narrative audio piece based on her script of the same name, combining Loyko’s own voice and personal audio archive with original music and sound design by Wordcolour. Considering language as a material condition, Loyko experiments with the narrative form to explore the affective and experiential qualities of logical structures as well as their ability to provide a stable sense of reality. GGG takes root in a compulsion to rationalise and gamify lived experience as a way of processing fear, both of creative expression and political repressions. Expanding her own complex process of writing into drawing, Loyko questions the notion of intuition and intuitive making and the paranoia of justification. Spatialised on lake’s 7.1 surround system, Loyko presents a unique multi-sensory experience."
